Wish I'd known of it and read it before he died, so that I could have visited with him about it. It's poignant. He did the hardest thing. He distilled the stories to their essence. One learns much, quickly. I knew him, but not well, in real life. I just knew he loved his dogs, which is always a good thing. Mike Bauman, your legacy has made my life better.
