After beating the game, I can say that it was mediocre. The voice acting was not good, except the protagonist. I felt like most of my choices meant nothing.
- I didn’t have any care for saving Mia, the main focus of the game, because of how little I’ve seen of her. She was barely a character, yet supposed to be a crucial part of the game.
*SPOILERS AHEAD*
-When I chose to help the bazar, the inner city didn't know. But when Aitor came in it made a big conflict and made me feel like I could let him die to keep my secret, or save him and he rats me out. I chose to save him, and then nothing happened. In fact, Almost any choice doesn't matter unless it happened in the climax of the story.
-When I chose to let Lawan plant the bombs, I was expecting her to die since the other option was to save Lawan. I thought that I would have to sacrifice her, the only character I kinda care about, to save the city and I was okay with that. But then, Hakon, who is injured at the time, saves her and she survives. I would be so pissed to know that if you chose to save her over the city, she would’ve survived either way. This just seems lazy to me.
This might just because the game is new, but I experience plenty of bugs across the game. One of them being in the final boss fight, taking all tension away as I had to reload the game.
Jack Matts weird sickness was never revolved, which may have been from my choice towards the end, but still. They built a story line and seemed to have just suddenly dropped it. I guess this is excusable based on what happened, but still very annoying to me.
Overall this game is pretty mediocre, not at all scary, overly annoying and buggy, bad writing and voice acting, and filled with plenty of characters I never felt a connection too. Maybe this is just because of my favorite types of games I thought this one would be (The Last of Us series, Walking Dead series, Insomniac Spiderman, ect.
