Erin Ward

Cowboy Bebop is one of my all time favourite animes, and I really didn't think this live action version was going to be good, but I was pleasantly surprised. There are a lot of differences in characters and the plot, but for the most part I think the changes actually work really well, and are really clever. The one thing I didn't like was Julia's character in the live action. In the anime Julia is a very classy, independent woman who takes care of herself with ease. I felt live action Julia was a white Kardashian who lacked depth, and her affair with Spike seemed more like a short teenaged fling that didn't mean much. I dont want to spoil it for any one, but I find her ending a bit ridiculous. Apart from that I loved this until the last episode. Worth watching for sure.
