It’s okay- some scenes that I believe to be personally not realistic such as when Benji was so annoyed at Victor for not disclosing his sexuality to his homophobic family. I also didn’t really like that they tried to portray Atlanta as this positive gay accepting place - I get that it’s better than Texas but it’s still a southern, republican state which is a theme throughout the book that Love,Simon was based on and I kind of hate that they completely changed that storyline. I also didn’t like the overwhelming lack of lgbt representation within the cast and crew. It’s easy watching and fine if you want to watch a feel good show but it’s definitely not monumental either.
