Good production , big budget serie, big names BUT a story that makes just about no sense at all. How many chance do you exactly give to a nameless fighter who keeps saying that he is done for? And why him? What's so special about him? He is definitely not showing better capacity for fighting as he gets beat up to a pulp in almost every fight he gets in. You are going to tell me that a fighter who doesn't have his name made and who bails at the last minute before his fight, which is the main event of the night, costing the promoters a truckload of money would get another shot at the big league in a matter of a few months ( or ever) ? Right. The whole show used Rocky as a template it is pretty obvious , it's actually almost shamelessly the exact same story but shown with a lot less credibility then the Rocky movies ever did . I still give it 2 stars for the expensive production. Now it looks like there might be a 2nd season ... What are they going to come up with as I don't think it can get any more preposterous.

No idea why this movie is getting so many bad reviews other than maybe the new generation doesn't get any of the references here and they can't be bothered otherwise it's brilliant in a way that we rarely see these days, maybe that's why so many people are calling this " the worst comedy possible" as it going right above their head . I read lately of people out there not considering Seinfeld 's comedy "edgy at all" as he doesn't even swear on stage , this is where we are at in this world now . I was expecting a bad movie after reading so many bad reviews but I can tell you that I waited for the bad parts for 90 minutes and it never came . This comedy is brilliant , Seinfeld is the man.

2 stars and I am probably pushing it . What's up with those novels ? The guy is 90 years old ,there is no way that he is writing more than The basic storyline and that's all. This reeks of " I must fulfill a contract and so here is one more story that will sell millions because my name is on the jacket. No depth to any of the characters , plot that has gaping holes that cannot be explained, events that you would like to discuss seriously with the author ( So you mean to tell us that anybody can just go from being accepted into one murderous tribe to another murderous tribe without so much as 2 questions asked by the murderous members of said tribes?) Right.... This at best should be sold in the category "teenagers read"

Quite possibly one of the worst and most brain dead movie ever made . Bravo ! I am cancelling my prime membership just because. In a sea of awful actors let's aknowledge that actress with the frizzy hair (the book store girl), thumbs up ! she proves that talent is definitely unnecessary in order to land talking character in a movie; Wow , you suck baby and I mean, major league suck, even some 5 years old can act but not you dear, I don't even know how it is possible to do such a bad job of something that is in all honesty so easy to master. Just to be fair let's also give a thumbs up to McGregor : Acting is not for you my friend, stick with what you know. This is worth watching though because it is so bad . Do not believe the good reviews as they are fake, nobody can be that simple minded enough to enjoy that ridiculous garbage. Oh and one more thing; Can someone tell those idiots that there is no crocodiles in Florida ! Not even one . They are Alligators, No it's not the same, not even close!

Megan Fox ,seriously , who casted this movie? what a joke . I am supposed to understand that men are tripping all over themselves to be with a woman who wear 3 inches of make up and who brings along a dark cloud wherever she goes . Oh yes , let me be the next one in line , a dream come true. That movie makes no sense.The story is ridiculous but what steals the show is without a doubt her acting which is so truly awful that it made me mad and yet some people will tell you that she is great or ok...Don't believe these people , you are warned . This is bottom of the barrell cinematographic garbage .

I actually studied Cinema when I was in college. Let me tell you something here , if I would have handed over that kind of story line to my professor I wouldn't have been turned away and told to get a better idea. It is that bad. This movie is TRULY one of the worst story I have ever witnessed. Do not believe any good rating , those are obviously from bots , not humans. 20 years ago the same plot was used for an episode of "Fraser" and the reason why it worked then was that it was a sitcom, it was funny and it was only 25 minutes long. With this movie you basically get the exact same twist BUT it's not funny at all, the actors are AWFUL and it goes on for an hour and 44 minutes. BTW I am a fan of Gibson so the people who think that it's getting bad reviews because of him, yea well , I can only say " go and watch this" . Truly ridiculous.

I don't think so, please kill it off, this is too much, this installment was ridiculous, yet most reviews I am reading here are 4 or 5 stars... What does it say about the average Star Wars fan out there? It is like something becomes so big that it doesn't have to deliver anything anymore, who cares? It will bring billions anyway. Not much made sense in this movie but I don't think too many viewers will complain about those details as the special effects are there to mask everything else that could show the weakness of the whole plot
