I usually avoid historical dramas since I'm not the type who enjoys them, but still, there were some exceptions and this includes this one! I accidentally encountered this drama since I was looking for something to watch in Netflix. I was actually hesitant at first but the moment I decided to continue watching the first episode, I was immediately hooked. This show kept me on my toes! Literally right at the first episode, it was a roller coaster ride and throughout the entire show, it was a right combination of comedy and drama. I also love the themes of women empowerment, especially for a historical setting. The acting of the characters as well, like Kim Hye-Soo deserves so much recognitions for her role in this drama. Everything from this drama, the plot, the acting, the characters, makes this one of best, if not, the best Korean drama I have watched this year. What a way to end the year!
