Basically a super power action film with little explanation and a very clunky story. Some action scenes are hard to see and some of the cgi looks bad. Not to mention it would seem it's main goal was to push propoganda down your throat. Same idea , white teachers apparently are bad, being a drug seller is ok, dropping out of high school to become a rap artist is an excellent idea, and that the system is bringing this child in the story down.
The main actors did an ok job acting. I thought Joseph Gordon-Levitt did less of a convincing job than the rest. Jaimie Foxx did pretty well but his character seemed to be all over the place.
Some parts were pretty cool visually and the concept was a good idea until they butchered it. Seemed very rushed , almost like they ran out of time. Overall it's good for a boring Sunday when you want to watch an action film and you can get past the stupid propoganda.
Without getting into a very long detailed review that was my take away from the whole thing. I'll most likely never watch it again.
