A neo-noir masterpiece with incredible writing and cinematography. Every scene is a revelation/complication and every single character goes through a complex transformation over the course of the film. Strongly recommend. The lead actor's performance was incredibly sophisticated, nuanced, restrained and complex. A very important film especially within the context of its country, Poland, in humanizing a much vilified and controversial subject matter of homosexuality. A captivating mystery and an equally captivating cast.
