Personally, I like it better than RE7. You have puzzles to solve and a lot monsters to kill! It's a delicate combination of action and horror, although I wouldn't say that it's a perfect combination. The first person view really made me terrified in some cutscenes and I loved that! However, I think the shooting aspect of RE7 and RE2 remake is still more fun than RE Village. The village wins for the story though.
