The acting was superb except for Miss Hickson whose performance was so affected.

I loved the film. Sophie Loren was at her usual brilliant self and her son Eduardo was very convincing as her blind son. A wonderful touching story. I could see this film over and over as it has comic elements and sad ones, too.
