Abdulla Jasem

A modern take on 2D Metroids that is very faithful to the classic. The story line progresses in an interesting way as well. The gameplay is challenging enough so that it’s not boring. I feel like it’s a bit more fast-paced than the older 2D games (especially with the EMMIs and flash shift). There are some interesting new abilities as well. It’s relatively easy to 100% this game because of the amazingly detailed maps (probably the best map system in the Metroid series). Overall, this game is extremely well-designed and a great addition to the Metroid series.
