I've already put 800 hours into this game. I wont count off on account of the bugs since it is still pre-release and the whole point of playing it right now is to find those bugs so they can be squashed. That said, the game is infinitely playable right now. They have made so many improvements already, with fixes, patches, and additional content being added quickly and consistently. First, the game is beautiful. Stunning visual quality and very immersive when walking around in first person. Second, the fighting mechanics are easy to pick up, even for someone like me that is not a FPS game player. Auto-block makes the game fun for me. My brain is logistical, not twitchy. Third, much of my time in game is spent either crafting or tending to the minutia of managing my fiefs. It does not have to be, but this is what my brain enjoys. You can skip all the minutia and blast your way through with a motley band of whatever troops you find yourself leading, but I like to maintain order in my garrisons and armies. Fourth, I like the generational aspect of marriage and preparing the clan for my eventual demise. Death in this game simply means that you continue as a different character, often making you change some aspects of how you move forward with your decisions. Death of your vassals, clansmen, and other family members is more painful the more important each is to your goals. This game is so good already, and the devs are still implementing much more. If they don't get it done fast enough for you, this game enjoys the richest trove of mods that improve quality of life and even add interesting content to the game.
