As a major fan of the original series when I heard it was coming back was very happy, and than I heard it's a reboot with new actors but it will be in the same "spirit and tone" of the original Roswell. After watching the pilot episode I'm done.... This is one of the worst reboots I've ever seen. Too much political b.s for a show about 3 aliens come to earth during the Roswell crash. And one of them is gay? Why is it that every show on the network has to have a "gay" brother or sister of the main star? Why do they repeat the same formula on every show now? IT's like nothings original they have a check list, and it's all the same stuff. This also extends to all the DC Superhero shows they got! Not one show is without a main gay character. Sad, and pathetic writing, and not to mention LAZY, and UNORIGINAL! Bad enough this is a reboot. You know Roswell set the tone for other shows like Smallville, and Riverdale and a bunch of shows the network has had. So it shouldn't shock me they recycle ideas but this one is just a bad one, and infused with the this SJW checklist agenda the pilot episode lost me enough to where I've lost full interest in watching any new episodes. The original series was great...... This new reboot is GARBAGE. Oh, and as a heterosexual male I am getting tired of every show on the network featuring dudes making out. I don't care to watch this sort of programing... Nothing against gay people, and I know they got they're own channel on Cable tv, and have shows on network tv geared for them. But good lord man every show on this network pretty much is pushing the "gay agenda." Enough for crying out loud.
