Spoiler - Spoiler - Spoiler - Spoiler I bothered to watch every episodes. It’s the first time I am disappointed in a series with Park Bo Gum as the lead character. It’s more or less the story of a fan who wants to date her idole, let him fall in love with her and dump him once she’s not amused anymore. That’s it. The main female character is irritating, selfish and bland and the actress who plays it very boring. Bad casting! Maybe she wasn’t paid enough to show some emotions or to actually try to do the job? I won’t even mention the obvious lack of chemistry between the 2 lead actors. PBG deserved a better partner, even he looked bored and flat. It’s a shame, it could have been a good drama, the idea was good but it went wrong. The OST and cinematography very good as well. So again, it’s a shame. I saw in another review that someone was surprised by the rating. The fact is most people who post reviews here are fans of the lead male actor (PBG, Lee Min Ho, etc) and they will always give the best mark even though in reality the drama is bad. So ratings mean nothing, they’re biased.

Worse drama ever. I didn’t know it was possible to make something that bad! If I could give no star I would.

I loved this drama. The characters, Seo Jin, Ha Na, Kwon, the doctor, are all endearing and have a great chemistry together especially the two leads. I like how Seo Jin/Robin personalities evolve through the episodes. Ha Na is a sweet character. The OST is great. The series has a good rhythm, I didn’t get bored at all.

I like Gong Hyo-jin, I watched her in The Producers and in Master’s Sun; I loved both of them but this drama is sooo boring. It’s the first time I watch a drama with Jo In Sung and it will be the last. His acting is flat, he brings nothing to the character, he has no energy. The story has very little to tell. The only character I found interesting and sweet is the one played by D.O. If I understand correctly he’s more a singer than an actor but actually I found him more interesting than the other male characters. It’s a miss for me.

This series is about SK army, bullying and its consequences. There are only 6 episodes but it’s powerful. If only it could help change mentalities, no one should be treated that way and pushed to a point of no return. Actors are all amazing and the OST is perfect for every scenes. I most definitely recommend it.

It’s bad, it’s really bad. Like others mentioned before, the female lead is a disaster so no need to say more. I forced myself to watch more episodes after episode 2 but at episode 8 I gave up. It looks like the production had a very generous budget but it’s not enough when the script, the direction and the acting is poor. Although I blame more the director than the actors. After one minute into each episode I was already on my phone checking the weather, doing my grocery shopping or reading the news, I literally had to force myself to remain focused. It’s only the 2nd drama I watch with Song Joong-ki, he wasn’t bad in Descendants of the Sun but he was nothing special. Good acting is not about good looks. In this drama… well let’s put it this way, he’s absolutely not credible as an Italian… at all. He’s a walking cliché, actually everything about Italy in this drama is a cliché, and nothing about him is credible anyway. No depth, no emotions, nothing. Moreover he has so many filters applied on his face that he looks like he’s made of wax, I bet any statue at the Grevin Wax Museum would look more alive than him. I won’t tell anyone not to watch it because you have to make your own opinion, but don’t expect too much. I noticed that when you check Kdramas’ reviews no matter how bad the drama is it will always get the best score because of the male lead actor’s fans, well, it’s called a biais for a reason. Fans could be watching the worse drama ever in history (!) and still give 5 stars and call it a masterpiece! Well, it’s not. There are enough great dramas available not to waste time with this one. Hopefully Song Joong-ki will be more visionary next time he picks a role. Or does it mean he’s not that popular anymore and is not offered the best roles available? Bottom line, it’s the first time I don’t watch a drama in full as I think the only way to have a fair opinion is to watch it in its entirety but with this one I give up, I can’t put myself through that.

It’s much more than just a Sci Fi film. It’s a beautiful film and story. Gong Yoo is excellent and Park Bo Gum’s performance is outstanding. It’s a must watch and I personally can’t see how someone can find it boring. Maybe some are too used to American productions whereas Koreans are more subtle and poetic.

Long story short, this drama is a masterpiece. I’ve watched it again a couple of times since March 2020 and I just love it more and more. The story, the cinematography (!!!), the acting game, the OST (!!!) all 5 stars! I am glad it met abroad the success it deserves.

It’s simple, it’s gentle, it’s heartwarming, it’s beautiful.

This drama has one of the most dull ML I’ve ever seen. I mean he’s so bland, has no charisma and his relationship with the FL just doesn’t make sense. I don’t know Park Si-hoo but I’ll make sure I avoid anything he’s in from now on. I won’t mention the FL’s hair, which is really irritating and unnecessary. Just like her character. I am grateful for the second ML, played by Lee Gi Kwang who is the only one who actually brings something to the drama in terms of narrative and emotions. If the story had focused more on this character then it could have been interesting, he’s the one who holds all the keys, who can see, he should have been more central; the writer missed the occasion to make a great drama. The ending makes even less sens.
