STULTUS EX MACHINA. This Tedious film loops over and over the same images of a man’s daily life—is it zen or just a sleeping pill? Towards the end the film-maker tries to spice it up with gratuitous, ukky, hackneyed illness talk and images—just more tedium. However, if you’re into stereotyped views of women, this is the film for you: in Wim’s world women invariably bring sadness or conflict. 0 out of 10.
