This movie was perfection. It's best to go into it with zero expectations.
(Maybe Spoiler?)
El Camino is simply a story about a man (Jesse) who was robbed of his ability to live life on his own terms (due to Walt blackmailing him into cooking meth); and after all the suffering endured, was awarded a second chance at happiness via true freedom.
While I wouldn't have objected to a more action packed wrap up, it wasn't needed. Jesse was a kind person, who was forced into a life that attacked everything he stood for morally. The cancer inside Walt spread to Jesse, and seeped into, then destroyed everything he loved until there was nothing left.
Over the course of 5 seasons and a film, we witnessed a tug of war between Walt, Gus, Todd (who at one point had sole possession), and Jesse, over Jesse's soul; and I'm happy that Jesse came out on top.
El Camino felt like an Ode to Jesse. It was beautiful.
Thank you for everything Vince.
