Sandler’s attempt at a mentally stunted, speech-disabled, town joke character is awkward and unfunny. Couldn’t stand 15 minutes of the “dumb” voice he does. Sure there are some clever jokes and the nostalgia of recurring character-types from other Happy Madison movies, but everything else falls flat. Too many overused and outdated tropes from Halloween teen movies past combined with awful ones from the kinds of kids shows that only make fart jokes. In one word: cringeworthy!
