I never read the books before and I think it's fun to watch. But like many series, some details, characters' decisions and performances are very unreasonably insane. Like switching lovers from man to woman or brothers' ex etc. , it's OK. for Sarah Lance in Legendary of Tomorrow but in Shannara it's more like everyone needs only sex partners and be able to forget the old ones very easily. There are many times that characters have a chance to kill rivals, yet they do nothing, sometimes get killed stupidly instead. Fighting scenes are not good enough comparing with other details like great costume, props, locations and CG. But of course, it's worth watching. 😂 😂
