I tried. I did. But this is a horribly bad film. The lead actress cannot sing and she cannot act. Cinderella is miscast and without a good lead, the entire production falls flat. It is short of like an overly animated cartoon. Even the dance numbers are manic and it just reminds you of one of those old cartoons where the dancers are frantically stomping and waving their arms. This is a bad production. In order to like it, you have to be a fan of the lead actress and such a devoted fan that you can overlook her glaring lack of talent. Her vocals sound like she has a cold or some raspy throat ailment. Save your time and skip this one. It is thoroughly awful.
