This is the most predictable movie I think I have seen in my 60 years on earth. The only reason I gave it two stars is because the scenery is so beautiful! I would say it is a take away from the Diane Lane movie, Under the Tuscan Sun, but I actually loved that movie. Why can’t Hollywood make descent movies these days? I think I could have wrote a better script for this movie. I have resorted to TCM lately to watch all the classic movies. There was a time when the plot was not predicable, the actors had talent and the scripts were well written. We have gone so downhill since then. I think the worst ones are the stupid super hero movies, Marvel, etc., but that’s just my opinion. Please Hollywood- DO BETTER!

I am so disappointed! I was looking forward to being engrossed with Bridgerton but sadly, I am not! I find myself pausing the first episode every 5 minutes to go into my kitchen to clean up after our family New Year’s Eve meal. I watched Versailles until I could no longer keep my eyes open.... so much more enjoyable for a period drama. Bridgerton seems too unpolished and not at all believable. What a let down!
