This was not new vegas in space, this was a looter-shooter on rails that I only managed to finish (instead of uninstalling) because bashing in skulls always forwards the main quest.
The first few hours are slightly nice and just irked me a bit. Once I got to Monarch the laziness was really shining through in the writing, level design and creature AI.
I tried to play a revolutionary route. Don't bother, you can't. Your choice in politics is neoliberalism or more brutal neoliberalism.
Dialogue options are severely limited, choices in general are severely limited and I don't get how it ever got compared to new vegas.
The aid system is a complete mess. There's like 10 different aid effects spread out over a few hundred items that are all functionally the same. The perks are unimaginative and your companions are basically completely interchangeable, though I did have to use the vicar for his perks for one mission because I didn't want to respec my character or go grinding for a level up.
