Absolutely negligent in terms of the report on Knotweed. The “expert” is a nitwit, to be polite. Dr Karen Bacon. I built and owned a house with knotweed next door c10 metres away. Being on an incline, we built a wall c1m wide and 3 metres deep and back filled with concrete, tons of it. After about 3 years, the knotweed appeared on our side of the fence, growing in concrete. As In said, the expert isn’t. Please disregard anything she says, and rely on more informed and experienced experts, or people like me who have dealt with it. Chemicals alone do not kill it, or control it. Other than that, nice to see you Free and Sangeeta. Philip
