This is what happens when you have a television show that is more interested in checking as many "diversity" check boxes as possible rather than concentrating on acting ability, original plot lines, or writing qualifications. How they are able to get away with the name "Star Trek" in the title is a baffling mystery. The only connection to Star Trek is the occasional mention of a "federation" and an insignia on the odd uniform. This show is an abomination and an insult to the franchise. FYI.....Mr. Spock did NOT have a black half-sister. Gene Roddenberry must be spinning in his grave! Do the right thing and cancel this bastardization ASAP.

An excellent cast with excellent writing carrying on the true Star Trek legacy. It's wonderful to see old friends once again. May this series live long and prosper.
