Poor writing, very unbelievable story line in this day and age. 'Angela' is weak, passive and unconvincing, the husband character is clichรฉ and bland. Keep hoping it's going to get better but it never does. Really disappointing ITV.

I agree with other comments. This drama was slow and lack lustre with quite feeble, unconvincing acting. I thought the plot was very limited in scope, I kept waiting for something to happen. An utter waste of time. The two stars were for the location and camera work.
