Ok, straight from the bat:- If you are a RE fan, and are expecting something remotely true to the game or film franchise, you will be sorley disappointed. No amount of alcohol, popcorn, or even strong prescription drugs will help!
This is an adaption, and a poor one at that. (Don't get me started on Wesker....)
Lots of stupid nonsense such as a top bio lab which can be broken into by means of a voice recording and a couple of bicycle lights? Then, much later, when the alarms are triggered.... No lazer beams. No countdown to detonation. No security. Not even a janitor. My local post office is more security conscious than this building.
The show, from start to finish, seems rushed - haphazardly assembled. Perhaps a good idea that was not given the time, thought and planning it required.
It is not bad, just not as good as the hype it received.
Giving the choice between this and Riverdale, I would pick the latter. (Yes. Really)
Given the choice between this and Murder She Wrote, I might go with the former (but it would be a close call)
If you are wanting a bit RE, try 'Welcome to Raccoon City' or give the CGI movies a go.
P.S. This is my own opinion. You may agree. You may disagree. But in my defense, I'm a canny lad and my cat loves me)
