Major problem is the lack of expertise in so many areas of social and economic policy. Sometimes it is just media opinions. The recent discussion of Dutton and visas a case in point. The panel seemed completely ignorant of international law and conventions. It was also very biased. There is a genocide perpetrated by Israelis and recognised by international law. Does Australia have a duty to recieve refugees? Should it be concerned about australians returning from participation in genocidal actions on behalf of zionists? Given the collusion between the EDL (uk rioters) and zionism should the security services be able to filter returnees. Given the proven infiltration of zionists into political systems, partcularly the US and UK should they have a standing brief to check this and also other far right activities. These are incredibly important issues for Australia.
