This movie is proof that you don't have to always have a love story, some dance sequences, and full-on action in every other film. A sheer story, a remarkable performance by the star cast, well-written dialogues, and an immensely talented production team can make a movie a huge success. Mimi touches you, it makes you ponder on the society you live in, and although it revolves around surrogacy, it also touches a lot of other aspects of our society. A must-watch movie, in my opinion. Light-hearted and conveys a strong message with the easy portrayal.

I was feeling low and just wanted to watch something to cheer me up. AND THIS MOVIE DID IT. Badass music, fantastic music and hilarious jokes. That's all I cared about at the moment, but this was beyond that. I'd even watch it another time, just for the amazing performance and the direction. :)

This movie is based on a true story. The way Deepika Padukone has evinced emotions really shows what a method actress she is. It's a movie that won't suit many people's taste. Yet it's one that should be watched by all. It's thought provoking. It makes you smile, laugh, cry, and most of all QUESTION how can anyone be cruel enough to commit such a barbaric act.
