I can see why people didn’t like this movie but I don’t hate it. The only thing I wish is that there was more build up like the first movie. The plot seemed rush. They cut the whole part of them building chemistry to fast. There was no suspense with it and the characters could’ve had emotions with it instead of sometimes sounding like they were reading. Im not an actor or anything but some lines felt to off. Although I do like how they made it more modern to this time. A lot of People don’t like remakes but it’s good how they made it more relatable to how “ this could happen” in today’s society. I loved how they included some of the old cast and threw in some Easter eggs ( if that’s the proper name) from the original movie. Although not bad for a remake and switching up the gender roles.
