Roger Dunbar – Google

It's full of super hero clichés and predictable action but it's still a fun and easy movie to watch. For a character that dates back to 1939, I think they also did a good job of updating the origin story. The acting is decent too. George Lopez is clearly having some fun. If you don't think about it too much and just sit back with some popcorn, it's a pleasurable way to kill a couple of hours and escape.

What is it with shooting movies so dark that you can barely see what is on the screen? Do some directors actually think those GOT episodes were well received and want to mirror it? Here is another film I tried to watch at home and couldn't make out what was happening in almost every scene. To stack that challenge on top of another, why create such a convoluted plot? These are basics. Justin Simien, what were you thinking?
