At first one can think it's cheap and bad. It's not the greatest production value but I've seen worst. The story it's a mix of pretty much every fantasy movie. The acting it's decent, nothing extraordinary, same as the cinematography. Altogether it's an independent tv film made by novices, BUT, it has heart. You can tell that besides anyone's opinion everybody involved in this proyect took their job seriously and also had fun doing it. The chemistry between the cast helps with there performance and makes you like them and root for them, regardless of what you may think of the story. The main character it's a girl and that works pretty well for the story and the fact that the actress playing it looks like the girl next door daughter of Rachel Weisz and Monica Bellucci doesn't hurt at all. Her love interest it's a good looking guy that plays the character in a way that you can see yourself having a beer with the guy and have a good laugh. The cold priestess/witch of course also gorgeous turns out to be a good addition to the group and the big strong brute with the heart of gold its pretty standard but works great as the glue that holds them together. Watch it alone, at night, when you know you have a day off the next morning and nothing to do. You will enjoy it and you will want to see more. And there are 5 of them, so, good. Good for everybody involved with this movies and thank you for them.
