I’ve been watching this show during covid-19. This version of Mahabharat is no match to B.R.Chopra’s Mahabharat. In all respects this falls flat. Direction, acting and background music nothing is upto the mark. Wherever they try to add a new narration for dramatisation purpose it seems unnecessary prolonging like before Gita gyan everybody gets frozen and Krishna asks Arjun would you even able to kill Pitahma and your guru. Kripacharya character is totally ignored. Actor playing Pithama tries to copy Mukesh Khanna from original Mahabharat. Actor playing Duryodhan has no sentiments in his voice. Sometimes he seems like reading the dialogues. Actor playing Arjun has a bad voice. He can play only soft romantic roles. Only plus point in the serial is production cost and war scenes backed up by today’s computer technology. Overall two stars.
