DNF. This book is incredibly boring, and way longer than it needs to be. Reading it felt like a chore. I listened to the audiobook while I read in a desperate attempt to make the book less insufferable, however, it only made it worse. The characters are all very off-putting and extremely challenging to relate to. Did I mention it’s also CRINGEY? One of the main characters, Scottie, says things like, *shudders* and *whispers*. It’s just odd. The writing is bland and hard to follow. This book has a very strange concept: two strangers pretending to be married at a disgustingly sexual marriage camp. Not my cup of tea.

Such an incredible book. Stand by me is my all-time favorite movie. Stephen King is incredibly talented.
