I've ever seen Japanese version more than ten years ago. At that time, I had just graduated, I was not impressed by the movie in Japanese version at all.
About 7 years later, I married with my wife. In 2016, we have a son. In 2018, my wife passed away by an accident.
Now at April 2020, I've just watched Be with you in Korean remake version, I've cried about 6 times during watching the movie and been impressed very much.
After that I've tried watching the Japanese version again but I've not cried at all. Then I've tried watching the Korean verion another time, I've cried 2 times during the part which the son washed the car of his friend's father and during the part which the son spoke on the stage at school that he will take care of his father.
I've felt that the Korean version can affect emotion of me more than the Japanese version. And the acting of actors in the Korean version looks more real especially Son ye jin and the young actor acted as the son.
