I watched the series for Zhao Yiqin. Loved his acting. I really admired how well the female lead Haofei Li potrayed her silly yet kind hearted full of life character. David Chou's presence cannot be missed. Indeed a remarkable support. Loved how Xia Shi is a man of a few words and how strongly he expresses everything with his eyes and expressions. So intellectual. I think that is the brilliance of an actor. Coming to the plot the story revolves well around all the characters and the murders. Now special mention to the man of the hour: Zhao Yiqin our beloved Xia Shi. How spectacular is his spectrum of acting abilities. The naughty and kinda out spoken and not so good at studies character in Accidentally in love; his portrayal of a rude, outgoing character in Wait My Youth; his subtle role of the king in Fake Princess and boy his swordsmanship!! His miserly, bossy, oh so so so loving and caring character in My Girl; his character as the docile suave brilliant student who is a man of a few qords Xia Shi. My gosh.... He has an outstanding arena of skills.

The movie is underrated. I myself found it to be a good story with a nice twist. Keanu Reeves being the Amazing Keanu Reeves, always a delight to watch him on screen. You cannot compare it with his another Cop roles because the story and it's narration is different. It's short, crisp, to the point. The killings and shootouts are done nicely. Can't get over the killing from over the fridge and with the shovel. Throws light on the inside dirt of a department. "What happened to just locking up bad people?" This was such an impactful dialogue. It was a good watch.
