The audiobook is what I listened to, and had to stopoccasionnaly, as the woman’s voice was so grating. A bit tiresome when the story talks about cooking muffins and cookies and brownies so much. The main character sees a dead man and and she hardly seems in a hurry to call police. Instead, she muses how lovely her nieces hair is. Agggh!

A Good Man Who Made a Big Mistake A well told, true story, where the interesting characters of Appalachian Tennessee seem to be fairly and believable represented by the author. The story is undeniably fascinating, I am still thinking about it days later with compassion for all involved. Except maybe Poole.
