In my opinion this movie did not live up to the hype it was being advertised as. The ads made it seem like this was a horror film when in fact it was more of a comedy. The plot of the movie is interesting and unique but the comedy and predictable scenes killed it for me. I’m a huge fan of Get Out and thought this movie was going to be just as good but it did not come no where close. The “plot twist” of the movie is litteraly handed to you in the beginning of the movie and it just goes down hill from there. In my opinion “Us” had a lot of potential but was executed very poorly.
