The highlight of the show was the many, talented kids in the orphanage preforming "Hard Knock Life". The choreography and dance numbers by the amazing chorus was especially entertaining. The production quality was hardly the best. Some of the orphans in the opening might have been better in the staring role of Annie than Celina Smith, whose credible acting outshined her singing abilities. (Children who can only scream the high notes are annoying.) Overall, this was a generally enjoyable presentation, despite several notable flaws. The Christmas theme was timely and should be especially enjoyable for children. I'd give it 3.5 stars, but I'll round up in the spirit of Christmas!
