It's a fascinating look into a troubled mind. But it's also a police procedural. The sub-titles are clear and don't detract from the show. And the Belgian culture is very different from ours and interesting. The way they mix languages. But the professor is fascinating, wish that the show was longer and addressed how he changed after his discoveries. You can watch this show on pbs
