I do so enjoy Netflix - The Diplomat. It’s so English, so its’s So Snappy, sassy, edgy and witty. A dollop of humor, again and now. I love tv shows that are mostly original and mostly unpredictable. This show is that and mostly more. Great intriguing and complex characters. Sparkling dialogue and plot reveals and conceals. It’s so very English. You know intelligent and has high respect for the audience. And you must pay attention and be a detective, yourself. Or watch a US Tv sitcom. You can predict the outcome. Ergo - I Smart. ——— Just watched S2. The Diplomat is great. Very intelligent series. Well it’s British. Smart Viewers. S2 is very implausible but the writers and cast make it all seem - to me Believable. And the S2 ending cliffhanger. Didn’t predict that. Now, please Don’t pull a “Yellowstone” and make us wait years for next episodes/season. Most tv I watch - I feel slightly dumber after. Feel smarter after with this ‘Palace Intrigue’ - Series.

Loved Monsieur Sam series- set in France. Ohh, those Frenchies do have a Way with English. Well, After translation is done of course- with nothing Lost in… The French have a way of speaking that’s precise, prescient, succinct and authentic. So Un-English like. I really enjoyed this series. Original and Unpredictable and great dialogue.

Giving 5 *s to this great Drama, history, western series. In episode 1 the narrator, Ed Harris says - The gunfight at the OK corral wasn’t the end of the story. It was only the beginning. So too True. And there’s lots more drama and intrigue to this National story- US President, Az. Governor, J P Morgan, Wells Fargo funding, The opposing Newspapers, Yankees vs. Confederates. And lastly Hollywood. A, The, Woman. You gotta have that and we do, min and max. And many others are all involved. And I Didn’t know any of that. Now I Knows better. Ed Harris is the frequent narrator and he’s great with background facts, Also great is the background, mood music. This is a very informative and enjoyable watch. Highly Recommend It! Only problem is no Part 2 seems likely. But, Wyatt did live his 80’s. Who Knows…

For me a good movie or series has 3 things. It’s Original, Unpredictable and an Ending that’s understood - or pretty much so. A Simple Favor has all 3 with a sparkling, witty and unexpected dialogue. Lots of silent laughs. It’s a very enjoyable Watch. Where’s Part II?

Collateral is great, Smart Series. I’ve long believed that Non Smart viewers like shows/movies that are Un Original and predictable. And Smart people love Original and The Un Predictable. This is a Smart English series. Most Americans won’t like it….

I do enjoy shows & movies that are original, unpredictable and with an Ending that is mostly or totally understood. Obviously there’s other factors. Bodkin gets Top Marks in all areas. The Irish wit & wisdom and the dialogue and scenery is very enjoyable. It’s Sparkling & Savage… I highly recommend this series.

Who knew a Black & White show could be so Colorful? I feel like I’m in the show, in the 60’s. Just an observer… Top marks all around for all aspects of this series, especially the cinematography… Also great acting by the Cats, paintings and Statues as well

Loved The Covenant movie. Especially the ending. The notion men don't communicate was eradicated in this movie. Well, I'm a man. I have a high opinion of my opinions. No words are spoken. Just Nods suffices to communicate precise true feelings. At the ending a man nods to another man- I owed you. The other man nods back- Debt paid in full. No words spoken. Just pure understanding and appreciation. No words required. Sometimes words aren't required to communicate. We're these female actors at the ending of this fictional and composite movie- it would take 11,423 extra words to express those exact feelings. Another hour to the movie. Man version better. Women are better communicators. Ok and men are more efficient. Sometimes in a life or death situation - A knowing Nod will suffice…

What I like most in a TV series or Movie is - It’s original. It’s unpredictable. Fool Me Once- gets top marks for both. This is a superbly crafted and edited series. It’s so very British.

I’m thinking French movie makers are appreciating this series, maybe envious too . It’s so too French. Raw, real, genuine, authentic and unvarnished with a dash a drop a dribble of hope at the end. Well done Magnifique!
