I really had high hopes for this movie since both my wife and I thoroughly enjoy the original Mar Poppins. So we went but it was quickly evident that Disney was tryibg way too hard to make this movie just as good or even better than the original. Sadly, they did not succeed. None the songs were memorable at all! And the characters were not believable! I wanted to walk out half way through the show. This movie was a huge disappointment. Two thumbs down for me.
