Bi-polar movie. Adam Sandler very good acting; his character is a schmuck. Plot tries to be lofty as in the exploitive act of diamond-mining vs. the rich reality of the diamond trade. Most of the early scenes come across as quick, abupt, obnoxious..When the story finally pays off, the acting and editing shift to a slower pace.
As cinema, Uncut Gems is well-done. As a story, this movie is a good and evil cliche. Sandler and Julie Fox are potent; the rest was meh for me..
