This movie could have been really good if more time was spent on the ups and downs, the various stories, the emotional reactions, tensions, relationships, the ending, and on believable dialog. A lot of the scenes, especially early on left you thinking “that’s not how someone would react” or “that seemed rushed and fake”. It has a good cast and the story could have been more gripping if more time was spent on a better delivery. It also built you up to a big climax and then just left you there and it was wrapped up and over seconds later. So much unanswered. If the book is like that, which I imagine it isn’t, then it sucks too. I had high hopes. Let’s reshoot and I’ll direct it! Ha!!
