This movie is excellent. First off it has a great and well-casted crew, especially starring Jane the Virgins, Gina Rodriguez as Jenny Snow. What I thought was the best part of the movie was the final quarter of the movie. In the middle of the movie, after she and her Boyfriend break up, she texts him, “I love you” hoping that he would reply with his tag-line, “forever”. Sadly he didn’t do that, and that left her experiencing the problems she went through the movie. Finally, when the girl head out to the party, Jenny seeks him out hoping to find him and talk. Fortunately, she does find him and as they make eye contact, Jenny mouths the phrase, “I love you” and he finally reply’s “forever”. I thought that this was perfect. It showed that Jenny wasn’t looking to get back together with him, she just wanted that assurance and closure, since they had been together since college, and after her reply she and him went of somewhat in peace.
