The only missed opportunity to make Cinderella 2021 the "woke" movie of the century was to continue the roles of the wicked stepmother and the evil stepsisters as females. The movie could have been pushed totally over the "woke" pinnacle if these three characters had been cast as homophobic and women hating men as the wicked stepfather and evil stepbrothers. WAY WAY too "woke".
