So, made on a Budget of 8 Million makes 47 Million at the Box Office and I had to watch a Couple chased, abused, tortured and eventually killed for 91 Minutes with absolutely no paybak to the Abusers. And People love this Movie. Real Geniuses. And to think this guy once directed big budget Hollywood Blockbusters like DIE HARD 2 and CLIFF HANGER. Audiences of today I tell you, must be Trump Supporters. Luckily I gave it a Star because this forum expects a rating. Please Renny, don't even go the way of a sequel, I ask this much.

This film failed because of the casting I think Petersen had the story spot on, however his actors failed him.Three of them in particular, ( I would be surprised if they ever got work after this) totally miscast is josh Lucas , Emmy Rossum and Jacinda Barret. Kurt Russell wasted his talent in accepting his Role. Richard Dreyfuss, though a good Actor, was not necessary ( Anyone could have done it unless he needed the money). What the film film needed additinally was a Villain, apart from an overturned ship, somebody like a Dolph Lundgren, John Lithgow or Allan Rickman. Emmy Rossum generally an irritating for over acting performer. Jacinda Barret, never mind, Josh Lucas, why acting?

I gave the star because this review asked for it. Otherwise it would not have even got 1 if I had my way. Pathetic film.

Terrible! don't waste your time with this rubbish. I can't even begin to fathom how rubbish subject matter like this is given the finance approval to be made. The Americans have finally lost their way in dominance of entertainment. I rather now watch foreign films atleast they have subtitles with brilliant subject matter.

Aaron Eckhart is not suited to these kind of Roles. He is that special kind of Actor who does well in Human Drama, playing an underdog Attorney, President, Doomsday Scientist, Camping trip with Wife / Family gone wrong, a Character in WW2 Dramas or Romance. He is completely out of his league in this one no matter how hard he tries to make his Character seem believable.

For a Movie so well made, so well presented and to end up as a Box Office Flop, then sadly the Audiences and Critics in these times are sure getting more paranoid and Idiotic than ever. Irrespective of the rules. that the majorities matter and their opinions. The Director has told a beautiful story and has done justice in paying homage to a chapter of Bram Stoker's classic Novel. It is true of what's said, sometimes good film making is rejected by the majority, only to be realized over time as to how such classics could have been paid such poor homage by the masses. One of the best Horror movies made in these times.

Excellent Series so well presented and acted. Makes one think of what could have been had the Allies lost the War. It is also a grappling reality of how fragile democracy really is. And how Fascism, Communism and other forms of Political and Religious influences are waiting to pounce on an unsuspecting Humanity. History has always proven that, it has the ability to be repeated in every Generation.

Let alone the Movie, I couldn't even make it past the Trailer.

I have always maintained that Saif Ali khan was never a good Actor. Why is he still around, I can never fathom. Most of the Films he was in were multi casts and not hits because of his sole presence. Rani Mukherjee on the other hand is a brilliant Actress, and here not even she could save this poor attempt for a sequel. Abhishek made a wise choice in turning down the film.

Soorjit Sircar you have probably made Manoj Kumar proud with this Masterpiece of Indian History.
