Excitement led to yearning and ended in disappointment. I certainly appreciated the tribute to the original special but frankly every time I saw Elvis, all I wanted to see was Elvis. I kept thinking they'd throw in at least one full song from the original special but it was not meant to be. I was left frustrated and wanting the original in spite of the incredible talent that took part.
