Remarkable picture. Takes me to my school days. No school's Annual day stage without the dance of " Om Nama Shivaya " by children ,till 1985/ 86. Ilayaraja' s wonderful music direction led all songs in this movie were instant hit. This movie is the document of SP Shailaja's , versatile talents of dancing &Singing ... It is not easy to establish dance in the same role of veterans like Kamal , Manju and Jayapratha.. my favourite movie till today
