I found this show to be predictable, the 'twist' at the end was obvious. All of the characters were unlikeable and so self-obsessed that they didn't seem particulary upset when they thought their mom was dead, no emotion shown.

This has got to be the worst show I have ever watched, just incredibly awful. It started off ok with the whale attacks and tsunami. However, once they start referring to the Yrr and wanting to communicate with it and make peace, it just became too ridiculous. I watched til the end purely because by this point I felt committed. The ending was absurd and made no sense. The characters were all unlikeable and one dimensional, their intelligence seemed to be their sole characteristic. Don't waste your time watching.

Space isn't usually my thing, I decided to watch this as I'm a fan of Joel Kinnaman (and he does not disappoint). Whilst it felt a little slow to start with I was pleasantly surprised, the show was awesome. It looks at how things would be if both the USA and Russia set up camp on the moon (***spoiler*** the USA claims ownership of their section of the moon and sabotage from both sides commences). I loved the storyline focusing on women in space, for me this is where the show really shined. Elsewhere, there are lots of heartstopping moments (turns out space travel can be pretty dangerous 😵) and great character progression. I would definetely recommend giving this a watch.

*****Be aware contains spoilers****Such a ridiculous show. I found the main character, Poppy, completely unlikable and one dimensional. There was an arrogance about her that she felt it was her role to decide who was innocent and deserved justice. She was meant to be a podcaster but acted like a detective. The relationship with her family wasn't explored enough, therefore felt like a waste of time. There was no chemistry with the family or her relationship with Marcus or Ingram. I didn't predict the twist, but by the end I didn't really care enough to be bothered by it. The only good thing about this show was Aaron Paul because, well it is Aaron Paul and everything he does is great. Would have liked to have seen more of him. I would have liked to have known why his dad (Owen) helped send Warren to prison and why he paid a prisoner to stab Warren. Was this really just to covert he hit and run? If so, I find it hard to believe a father would do that unless he was a complete monster, and although Owen was a bad father, I didn't see him as a psychopath. Wont be watching any follow up seasons.
