I was really anticipating a better remake in this movie and it somewhat followed through with its ethereal/fantasy like atmosphere, yet didnโt deliver in pace and engaging script. Lackluster in plot development. The special effects and implementation of cool gadgets, space vehicles and landscape were stunning. BladeRunner 2049 much better from same director. I felt like they had a grasp of what Dune was supposed to beโฆ it just slipped away.
