Steve Pakin is a trusted voice on Canadian media. He asks the tough questions to all of his guest and at the conclusion of his interviews we are better informed and can make more balanced opinions. Western mass media is on a relentless bash China campaign spearheaded by the US. Steve recently interviewed the Chinese Ambassador to Canada. As expected the Ambassador's strong accent and being forced to be on the defensive due to the incisive bad press that China is getting lately, the public opinion needle did not move to China's side after that interview with the Ambassador. The world grows more worried that a military conflict may develop between the US and China. One way to bring down the temperature would be to have more Canadians living in China that have a voice on social media get interviewed by Steve so Canadians would hear the other side of the story. Daniel Dumbrill originally from Ontario has lived in China for 14 years. Cyrus Janssen a Floridian that lived in China for 10 years now lives in Vancouver. Cyrus gave a TED talk recently. These are 2 voices that have a less propagandist view of what is really happening in China and they regularly debunk much of the misinformation pushed by western media. I do hope that Steve will consider that suggestion. A concerned citizen of planet earth.

Surprised by Joe that he would not be more objective on Amazon pulling out of the deal of setting up shop in NY. His view was very one sided. Why give 3 B$ to this Corporate Giant ? It would set a very bad precedent for future companies that would want to set up shop in NY. How about all these other companies that have established themselves in NY with out any tax payer hand out ? Why would amazon not pick a CIty in need an do the right thing and be a worthy good corporate citizen ?
